Pokemon of The Week Entry #5!

Monday February 27th 2017, We have updated to Pokemon of the Week instead of day, giving ourselves more time and the Pokemon longer to shine rather than just one day. Lets introduce entry number 5 now this weeks pokemon of the week goes to #135 Jolteon.

This lighting pokemon is extremely quick on its feet. When we talk about speed there is no doubt Jolteon gets brought up into the conversation. Being one of many Eevee evolutions It comes with the ability Volt Absorb. Whenever an electric-type move hits Jolteon, it heals for 1/4 of its maximum HP, negating any other effect on it, my personal favorite. Then its hidden ability Quick Feet, so whenever Jolteon has a major status ailment, it has 1.5x its speed. Jolteon is also not affected by the usual speed cut from paralysis. Coming in strong with a Base Sp. Attack of 110 and a Base Speed of 120 Jolteon is definitely a pokemon you shouldn’t underestimate.

Poke’dex Entry: Jolteon’s cells generate a low level of electricity. This power is amplified by the static electricity of its fur, enabling the Pokemon to drop thunderbolts. The bristling fur is mad of electrically charged needles.

Today is February 21st 2017 marking the official 4th pokemon of the day entry. We dug deep with yesterdays entry being Phantump, but today we hit a little closer to home with our Pokemon of the day at Poke’dex entry #012 we congratulate Butterfree as our 4th pokemon of the day. With the ability compound eyes which makes its accuracy 1.3Xs, or its hidden ability Tinted Lens which i prefer. Making butterfree deal twice as much damage with moves that are not very effective against the target. Butterfree also was one of the first pokemon ash traded but knew he made a mistake once he did. Butterfree touched us all when Ash let him go to be with the female Butterfree he had impressed, showing a true connection between the trainer and pokemon.

Poke’dex Entry: Butterfree has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers. It can even search out, extract, and carry honey from flowers that are blooming over six miles from its nest.
